38. High Voltage Electric Transmission Lines Change Date March 28, 2019 • This chapter has been revised in its entirety. a. Residential Structure No part of any residential structure may be located within a high voltage electric transmission line easement. b. Detached Improvements Any detached improvements even partially in a transmission line easement will not receive value for VA purposes. c. Distance Requirement If the property is within 100 feet from the nearest boundary of a high voltage electric transmission line easement, the appraiser must comment in the appraisal.
