6. Drainage and Topography Change Date March 28, 2019 • This chapter has been revised in its entirety. a. Grading The site must be graded so that it • provides positive, rapid drainage away from the perimeter walls of the dwelling, and • prevents ponding of water on the site. b. Topographic Conditions The appraiser must report any danger due to topographic conditions, such as mudslides from adjoining properties, falling rocks, or avalanches.
