1.4 SFHGLP GOALS The SFHGLP is designed to provide low- and moderate-income households the opportunity to own adequate, modest, decent, safe, and sanitary dwellings and related facilities for their own residential use in rural areas. The program offers eligible applicants the opportunity to acquire, build, rehabilitate, improve, or relocate a dwelling in rural areas. The program provides loan guarantees to approved lenders for loans made to eligible applicants. In providing this service, the Agency strives to meet several goals. x Customer Service.
