Gormley, President SUBJECT: Re-Performing Modified Loan Eligibility Ginnie Mae's existing guidance did not specifically address whether a loan that was modified to a term greater than 30 years, later bought out of a Ginnie Mae MBS due to redefault, and now re-performing on its modified terms is eligible for re-securitization in C ET pools. Ginnie Mae is revising its guidance to confirm that such Re-Performing Modified Loans, provided the loan term remains greater than 30 years, are eligible for C ET pools.
