H. Servicing Options 1. Lenders must follow SOP 50 57 and the Servicing and Liquidation Actions 7(a) Lender Matrix for servicing and liquidation requirements. Additionally, Lenders may extend the loan maturity by up to 10 years to help a Borrower remain current or, if a Borrower becomes delinquent, to help the Borrower regain currency. In such cases, the loan must be converted to a fully amortizing loan with a zero balance at loan maturity. 2. Lenders may also defer payments. a. Revolving loans may be deferred for up to 6 months.
