2. When Applicant size is determined (13 CFR § 121.302) a. Applicant size is determined as of the date the application is accepted for SBA processing; subsequent increases in size will not affect eligibility. b. For 7(a) and 504 loans involving a business acquisition or change of ownership, the combined size of the Applicant and the acquired business must meet applicable size standards. c. For applications processed under an SBA Lender’s delegated authority (PLP, SBA Express, Export Express, PLP-EWCP, and PCLP CDC), the size of the small business is determined as of the date of approval of the loan by the SBA Lender.
