8. Title I Manufactured Home Dealers (05/09/2022) A Dealer, in the case of Manufactured Home Loans, is a person or business that is engaged in the business of manufactured home retail sales. Dealers of manufactured home sales have a financial interest (either direct or indirect) in the transaction. If a Dealer assisted the Borrower in preparing the credit application or assisted the Borrower in obtaining the Loan from the Lender, the Lender must comply with the requirements in Direct and Dealer Loan Process for Manufactured Home Loan Program. 9. Title I Chattel Appraisers a. Definitions (05/09/2022) Chattel Appraiser refers to an appraiser who observes, analyzes, and reports the physical and economic characteristics of Chattel and provides an opinion of value to FHA.
